Safety and risk
SSUV’s have many and varied uses. When used responsibly and with adequate training they can be a valuable resource in many industries, particularly farming as they are able to access terrain that 4WD vehicles cannot.
These vehicles have caused serious injury and even death. This training aims to help participants minimise the risks involved with operating an SSUV.
Legal issues
All SSUV users need to be aware of their obligations under OH&S law, and associated regulations. Prosecution for breaches under these acts are costly and damaging.
Employers are also required by law to ensure the health and safety of all employees and visitors to a workplace, providing the necessary training, instructions and supervision to ensure a safe working environment.
