Proud to be a part of the Global Smart Farms Network, Longerenong College is proud to be one of nine members globally of the Global Smart Farms Network, and one of just four within Australia. We participated recently in the Digital Agrifood Summit hosted at Charles Sturt University. It is wonderful to be tied into a global initiative to harness technology for increasing on farm profitability. Laura Kilcrease, CEO of Alberta Innovates gave an excellent keynote address and pointed out the similarities and close ties between Canadian and Australian agriculture practices. Our General Manager, Avril Hogan was proud to hear Longerenong College named within a key note address and thanks Michele Allan of Charles Sturt University and Dave Lamb of Food Agility CRC for the invitation.
