The Longerenong College Scholarship Program allows students the opportunity to access financial assistance which will help with tuition or residential fees and is generally available for the first year of study and, in some cases, subsequent years.

Scholarships provide opportunities to engage with your sponsoring organisation, be involved in College network opportunities and have financial support whilst a student at Longerenong College.

With an increase in scholarships, new scholarships may become available throughout the year, so keep checking this site for more information. In most cases, scholarships do not bind you to working for the sponsor however being a recipient of a scholarship could lead to employment opportunities after your graduation.

The application process is quite straight forward and once you have applied for a scholarship, a short-list of applicants will be selected to progress to the interview stage.

Should you be selected for an interview you will need to articulate the reasons why you should be the beneficiary of the scholarship. The panel will consider many factors, but most importantly your:

  • commitment to the agricultural industry
  • academic performance
  • personal presentation and
  • ability to communicate.
